A girl child of around 8 years was sold off by her parents to someone in Pasighat, East Siang District, Arunachal Pradesh. Afrter selling her off, her parents left her and ran away.
Later she was brutually tortured by her in-keeper beyond recognization with cut wounds on her various body part including other wounds. It came to the notice of the Pasighat police who then handed over the child to the Deepak Nabam Living Home.
The Deepak Nabam Living Home found her in mysterious condition with no condition to survive any longer. She was taken from the police custody and started giving treatment including other caring. She recoved over the time fully and now living a normal life under Deepak Living Home NGO. She has started building her life including attending school.
We have taken care of such and other many cases over the time but we have lost of the official record or photograph. We shall continue to serve humanity in this way to our best possible way.
Mr. D. Bhadur Subha from Pasighat was a labourer engaged in timber cutting work. He got infection on his both of his legs. Being labourer having no money, there was no fund with him to get medical treatment on time.
There was no body to help him either. As a result, his condition worsened. Later, he was rescued by Deepak Nabam Living Home and got him operated both his legs at Pasighat, East Siang District, Aruanchal Pradesh sometime of August month of 2016 from own source.
Since his successfull operation after losing his both legs, he is in the Rehab/care centre at Senki Park, Itanagar, Aruanchal Pradesh.
Mr. Lama, aged about 35 years was brought in our centre in precarious condition by his helpless mother on 17th Feb 2008. He was found to be suffering from various chronic and terminal diseases such as epilepsy, TB due to which he was mentally retarded with physically weak, thin and barely able to talk and sit.
In order to bring him back to normal life, we rendered unconditioinal services and support to Mr. Lama which took 2 (two) years and half without a penny spent by him or any of his people. We took up entire expenses on ourselves.
After being recovered, he expressed is happiness and he is happily working as Security Guard in ur centre at Senki Park, Itanagar wishing no where to go.
An under aged girl accidently murdered another woman in Kurung Kumey District of Arunachal Pradesh. The court of law sentenced her, and she was lodged in Juvenile centre at Pasighat, East Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh for her jail terms.
While she was serving her jail sentence in the juvenile centre there, she was raped by a police constable who was an employee in the juvenile centre at Pasighat. She got pregnant and gave birth to a baby boy later.
After she served her jail term in the Juvenile Centre and being released on 24.11.2014, the jail authority found that she had no body and no where to go. There was nobody to accept, shelter and support her any further after her jail term. With no other alternative to support her continuously and having no NGO or agency found to foster and support her further, she was handed over to the Deepak Nabam Living Home in 2014.
With series emotionally, physically, and mentally repeated destruction and torture over grave incidents after incidents such as murder, rape, childbirth etc, she was a piece of living dead barely walking. It needed a nothing sorts of miracle for her to overcome from such traumatic life when rest of her age groups were happily attending schools.
With whatever condition she was at that time and without any condition or expectation, she was accepted by Deepak Nabam Living Home. And with no aids or support from any one or any source, she was taken care in our centre. Her physical body regain, mental condition development, and her overall required development was swiftly undertaken in our centre without delay.
After more than a year in our centre, she was inspected by Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) cum Superintendent of Juvenile Home Pasighat visited her in our centre on 03.09.2015. The officer submitted report on 28.9.2015 stating that she was happy at the centre under the care of Deepak Nabam Living Home and that she was facing no problem. The officer also noted in the report that she wished to go nowhere rather stay in the centre. She was with us till 2019.
She has been earning for her life while taking care of her son since 2019 and she is happily living a normal lives with her son. She lives a single mother.
