NHRC Special Rapporteur Visits Destitute Home at Sopo, Doimukh, Papum Pare Appreciates Humanitarian Service
Hon’ble Special Rapporteur of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Shri Sayeed Ahmed Baba, IAS (retd), along with his team, visited the home for unprivileged and destitute inmates at Sopo, Doimukh in Papum Pare district for the second consecutive day today.
During the visit, Shri Baba interacted with the inmates and members of the organization, emphasizing the importance of serving humanity and protecting the dignity of the weak, needy, and destitute sections of society. His words of encouragement greatly inspired the caregivers and volunteers engaged in humanitarian service.

The visiting team highly appreciated the organization’s selfless efforts in serving homeless, abandoned, deprived, and marginalized people at its two service locations — Senki Park in Itanagar and Sopo in Doimukh, Papum Pare district.
The team acknowledged the dedication and compassion shown towards the welfare and rehabilitation of vulnerable individuals and encouraged the continuation of such noble service for humanity.
